Reflecting on a Year of Innovation

As the year comes to a close, we want to extend our sincere gratitude to the clients who continue to trust Black Diamond as a core part of their business. Your partnership, insights, and our commitment to serving clients at the highest level fuel everything we do. This past year marked meaningful progress across the platform, and we’re proud to reflect on what we accomplished together and where we’re headed next.

A Stronger, More Unified Offering
One of the year's most significant milestones was the launch of the SS&C Black Diamond Wealth Solutions brand. This unified identity brought together SS&C’s wealth offerings, including Black Diamond, Innovest, Salentica, and additional advisor tools, under a single offering. While the name is new, the mission remains unchanged: to deliver a cohesive, end-to-end ecosystem that helps RIAs operate more efficiently and provide exceptional client experiences.

That same focus on cohesion guided our expanded partnership with Morningstar, bringing industry-leading research and analytics directly into Black Diamond. By delivering deeper insights within a firm’s existing workflows, teams can support more informed investment conversations without disruption. We also advanced our reporting flexibility initiative, shaped directly by client feedback. With greater control over groupings, classifications, and configurations, wealth managers can now present information in ways that reflect their philosophy, their brand, and the unique needs of each client relationship.

Deeper Capabilities for Modern Portfolios
As portfolios have become increasingly complex, we have made targeted investments to help trust and wealth management companies manage diversification at scale. Alternative investments remain an important area of focus, and this year included enhancements to alts reporting, deeper capabilities within our SS&C Accord offering, and continued progress on a cash flow projection utility designed to bring clarity to historically complex workflows.

Alongside these efforts, our Black Diamond Investment Management team expanded managed account capabilities that help firms scale investment operations with confidence. From model delivery and tax transition services to operational outsourcing, these offerings enable RIAs to focus on client relationships while leveraging infrastructure designed for efficiency, consistency, and oversight.

Elevating the Client Experience
Client expectations continue to evolve, and digital engagement is increasingly important for strengthening advisor–client relationships. This year, we introduced a refreshed home experience within the Client Experience Portal, featuring a cleaner design, a more intuitive layout, and new customization options. These enhancements help advisors deliver a digital experience that aligns with their brand and supports clearer, more engaging communication with clients.

Building the Foundation for What’s Next
This year also marked the start of our AI investment across the platform. While still early, the foundation we’ve laid will enable faster insights, more streamlined actions, and new efficiencies. We’re excited about how these capabilities will continue to evolve throughout 2025 and position our clients and us for a transformative 2026.

At the same time, we remain deeply committed to the core capabilities wealth management firms rely on every day. Ongoing improvements to rebalancing, data processing, reporting, and the platform's operational engines ensure the stability and reliability that underpin everything we build.
