Women in Wealth | Leadership, Influence, and the Future of Advice

By: Karen Sears

A recipient of Family Wealth Report's Women in Wealth Technology Award, Jen Becher remains an influential voice in the wealth management industry.

As Senior Vice President of Client Experience for SS&C Black Diamond® Wealth Solutions, Jen has championed innovation, client advocacy, and leadership development. At SS&C Deliver 2026, she will moderate Women in Wealth | Influence and Impact, a panel featuring female leaders from wealth management firms and trust companies.

Ahead of the conference, we asked Jen about the evolving role of women in wealth management, what attendees can expect from the discussion, and why these conversations are more important than ever.

What does it mean to moderate this year's Women in Wealth panel?

I'm looking forward to bringing together leaders who have built successful careers while helping move our industry forward. Everyone on the panel has had a different journey and can offer a unique perspective. I think attendees will appreciate hearing those experiences firsthand.

How has the conversation around women in wealth management evolved?

The industry has come a long way, with more women now leading firms, shaping technology strategies, and making key business decisions. Still, it’s important to keep creating spaces where leaders can share their experiences and challenges, while still learning from each other. These conversations help everyone by bringing out different views on leadership and business growth.

Client experience has always been central to your leadership philosophy. Why does it remain such an important differentiator?

Technology is advancing rapidly, particularly as firms begin incorporating AI into everyday workflows, but relationships remain at the core of what we do. Firms that listen to clients, understand their changing needs, and keep improving their service levels are the ones that will grow. A great technology partner helps, but it’s the people who really make the difference.

What do you hope attendees take away from the panel?

I hope attendees leave with practical ideas they can apply within their own organizations. Whether it's a new perspective on leadership, a fresh approach to client engagement, or advice they've heard from one of our panelists, the goal is for every attendee to walk away with something meaningful they can put into practice.

Why should wealth management professionals attend SS&C Deliver 2026?

Each year, this conference brings together an amazing group of industry leaders, innovators, and professionals. Besides this panel, you can join sessions on AI, succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, investment management, trust services, and product innovation. It’s a chance to learn from your peers, connect with Black Diamond experts, and find ideas to help your firm get ready for the future.
