Shahyan Aly leads the Application Security and Compliance team at SS&C Black Diamond Wealth Solutions. With more than a decade of experience on the Black Diamond Product team, he played a key role in the creation of the Black Diamond API suite. Shahyan is known for his collaborative approach to solving sophisticated technical challenges. When he is not on calls with clients, you will often find him reading through code, contracts, or the newest way data can be securely processed.

Shahyan holds a Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University and is licensed to practice law in Florida and California. Outside of work, he enjoys 3D printing, collecting fountain pens, and studying history, with interests ranging from classical historians such as Herodotus to the Italian campaign of the Second World War.
