Patrick Ashby leads a team at SS&C Black Diamond Wealth Solutions focused on helping clients unlock the full value of an expanding suite of integrated partnership solutions. He joined the company in 2025 following a 14-year career at Morningstar, where he built, led, and grew client-facing teams representing the firm’s research, technology, and data solutions to financial advisors, asset managers, and investment consultants. Patrick is motivated by deepening client relationships to drive a unified technology experience that enables wealth managers to grow and better serve their clients.

Patrick holds a BA in political science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, an MA in international commerce and policy from George Mason University, and Series 7 and Series 65 licenses. He resides in Chicago with his wife, three children, and golden retriever, Cookie.
