Eric Hewitt serves as Chief Investment Officer at SS&C ALPS Advisors, where he, along with his co-lead Alex Hagmeyer, leads Black Diamond Investment Management and oversees the design, delivery, and ongoing evolution of the firm’s model portfolios, OCIO solutions, and managed account services. In this role, Eric is responsible for platform strategy, advisor onboarding and servicing, business development, and strategic partnerships supporting independent RIAs.

Eric has more than 25 years of experience in investment management and wealth management platforms. Prior to joining SS&C ALPS Advisors, he held senior leadership roles at OppenheimerFunds and AllianceBernstein, where he worked closely with advisors and institutions to scale investment solutions. This prior experience is the foundation being used today to implement model-based programs and align investment platforms with advisor growth objectives. His work is focused on helping advisors grow and scale their businesses by delivering institutional-quality investment solutions through efficient, integrated managed account and OCIO platforms.

Eric earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he double-majored in Political Science and International Relations.
