Meet Alex
Alex Hagmeyer joined SS&C ALPS Advisors in May 2020 and serves as Director of Quantitative Research. In this role, Alex is responsible for the quantitative research team support, Sting investment research, manager oversight, model portfolios, and advisor tools. Prior to joining SS&C ALPS Advisors, Alex served for seven years as VP, of Quantitative Research at Franklin Templeton Investments, where he worked with multiple investment teams to build bespoke portfolio management tools ranging from factor analysis to portfolio construction and risk management. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton, Alex worked for six years as a Senior Quantitative Analyst for Quantitative Services Group (now S&P Global), focusing on global stock selection models and transaction cost analysis.
Alex graduated from Miami University with a BA in Microbiology and a Minor in Molecular Biology.
